[ 009 / FAQ ]

Automotive lift questions, answered.

Q · 01

How much does it cost to install an automotive lift in Maine?

Most two-post installs in Maine land between $4,500 and $7,500 all-in — that's the lift, delivery, anchor kit, concrete verification, electrical hookup and start-up. Four-post, alignment and in-ground packages run higher. Every quote is bay-specific; call 207-804-0473 for real numbers on your shop.

Q · 02

How often does an automotive lift need to be inspected?

ANSI/ALI ALOIM standards require an inspection at least once every 12 months by a qualified lift inspector. Fleet, dealership and high-cycle shops often schedule semi-annual PM alongside inspection to catch cables, latches and hydraulics before they close a bay.

Q · 03

How long does a typical lift installation take?

A standard two-post install runs 4–6 hours on cured, spec concrete. Four-post is usually a single day. In-ground lifts require a multi-day sequence with excavation, forming, plumbing and pour — we walk you through the whole schedule before we book the job.

Q · 04

Do you install lifts we bought somewhere else?

Yes. We install new and used lifts from Rotary, Challenger, and most major brands regardless of where they were purchased — same anchor torque, plumb-and-level, cycle test and operator walk-through as our own sales.

Q · 05

What brands does LW Automotive Lifts distribute?

We're an authorized distributor of Rotary Lift and Challenger Lifts (automotive lifts), Samson Corporation (bulk oil, ATF and waste fluid systems), and Atlas Copco (rotary screw and piston air compressors) — factory equipment, factory parts, single point of contact.
